2025-12 “HANDS ON” 2025 REGULATORY TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR EU SPECIALTY FOOD INGREDIENTS’ MEMBERS
Once again, this year, a highly practical training programme was implemented to help onboard new staff from member companies and associations, as well as to expand and deepen the expertise of regulatory professionals. About 200 of them have joined our dedicated webinars about:
- The EU allergen labelling, in supplement to our internal brochure “Labelling of specialty food ingredients in the context of allergy, intolerance & other health conditions”, which was published in February 2025.
- Food additives and novel foods applications to EFSA, an interactive session, where EFSA representatives shared comprehensive information and practical tips on the application process for specialty food ingredients, as well as an overview of support for applicant initiatives and confidentiality assessment.
- The EU regulatory framework for processing aids, a thorough analysis of a complex topic by Mr. Galizia, from the law firm Keller & Heckman, LLP, Brussels.
