The 50th meeting of the Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses takes place in Berlin (04-08/12). A number of topics of interest for EU Specialty Food Ingredients are discussed, e.g. the draft NRV-NCD for EPA and DHA long chain omega-3 fatty acids or the draft Guideline for Ready-to-use Therapeutic Foods.
