Chaired by MEP Roza Thun, the European Food Forum, of which EU Specialty Food Ingredients is a member, held a fruitful exchange of views via videoconference about the impact of COVID-19 on the food supply chain. The summary notes are available here.

The event gave the opportunity to remind that it is important to secure the manufacture, transport and delivery of all components of food stuffs, including specialty food ingredients , without which the production of many processed foods is simply not possible.
