With 4 to 5 % of the annual turn-over of the European speciality food ingredients industries invested in research and development, our sector strives to develop innovative ingredients and solutions to provide the consumer with healthier diets, non-allergic options, and products adapted to their specific physical conditions (e.g. the elderly).
