EU Specialty Food Ingredients’s Members hold an exchange of views with the European Vegetarian Union about the definitions of “vegan” and “vegetarian” in the context of the upcoming adaptation of the EU food labelling legislation, with particular attention paid to the use of specialty food ingredients, including processing aids.
