2024-03THE ANTWERP DECLARATION FOR A EUROPEAN INDUSTRIAL DEAL

In the context of the EU industrial summit held in Antwerp (Belgium) on 20 February, several companies and organisations have signed ‘The Antwerp Declaration for a European Industrial Deal’ to Belgian Prime Minister, Alexander De Croo and Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen.

 EU Specialty Food Ingredients is now a signatory of this declaration, which cautions that Europe may become reliant on basic goods and chemicals without a focused industrial policy. To make the innovation framework smarter & to establish a new spirit of law making are among the 10 actions identified to support this industrial policy.
