2019-04TRAINING/VISIT OF THE EUROPEAN INSTITUTIONS IN BRUSSELS

An exciting one-day training session about the European institutions is organised by EU Specialty Food Ingredients’ team for a broad Members’ delegation. The interactions between the institutions, the challenges of the upcoming elections in the European Parliament and of the renewal of the European Commission are explained in details by our experienced EU Affairs Manager. The programme also includes a walking tour in the European District, together with a presentation and visit of the European Economic and Social Committee and of the European Parliament, incl. the attendance to a parliamentary session in the hemicycle. At a meeting next November,  Members will have the opportunity to hear at an in-depth analysis of the composition of the new Parliament and how this is expected to shape the dynamics of future votes on EU food-related topics.
