ELC participates to the 11th meeting of the Sherpa Group of the High Level Forum for a Better Functioning Food Supply Chain, where the Sustainability declaration developed by a multi-stakeholder dialogue group is presented.

At the EFSA workshop organised in Brussels, ELC presents the experience of the manufacturers of food additives with the re-evaluation procedure and makes several suggestions for improvement. Full article available here.

The study “Delivering on EU food safety and nutrition in 2050 - Scenarios of future change and policy responses" is now available on the DG SANCO website. ELC completed the survey and provided insights during the course of the study.

EFSA priorities in the area of international relations  were on the agenda of the 24th meeting of the EFSA Stakeholder Consultative Platform, a topic particularly followed by the ELC delegate given the importance of international harmonised risk assessment approaches. 

21-03-2014 Codex Committee on Food Additives in Hong-Kong

An ELC delegation participates to the 46th session of the CCFA, building on the work made over the year in the numerous Codex electronic working groups of which ELC is an active member.
