Codex may be a synonym for complex but the EU Specialty Food Ingredients is here to help out ! Our working group has prepared a brochure to guide its members, or any Observer wishing to enter the CCFA arena, through the Codex maze.
Based on its solid experience, our working group dedicated to the Codex Committee on Food Additives (CCFA) has developed some recommendations that might be helpful if you wish to have new provisions included in the General Standard for Food Additives (GSFA), or a substance evaluated by the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) or the International Numbering System updated according to the latest technological developments.
